2021 was a great year for IT conferences – on November 19th our ML Team Lead Alexander Kalinin took part in the online forum “Huawei Global Machine Vision 2021”, organized by Huawei Data Storage, Intelligent Vision Product Line and Huawei Russian Research Institute. Alexander spoke on Building data annotation pipelines for complex classes: • Defect detection. Task definition • Problems with original dataset • Applying ad-hoc fixes and augmentation • Facing crowdsourcing facilities • Problems of first iteration • Simplification of pipeline. Detection and classification segregation • Organization of quality control We were honored to be a part of Huawei Global Machine Vision 2021 and look forward to future engagements with the participants!
